Action taken on irregularities found in the scheme by PRS

In Motihari, DDC has taken a big action and has sought clarification from Ghodasahan PO and Vijayi Panchayat’s PRS regarding the irregularities found in the scheme. Let us tell you that a complaint was received about work being done with JCB in the drain removal scheme in Vijayi Panchayat of Ghodasahan block. After investigation, the matter was found to be true.
The report given by the PO was not satisfactory. Which is not as per the rules of MNREGA scheme. In the said scheme, an expenditure of Rs 3,58,836 has been incurred in the unskilled labour item. In the review of the scheme, it was found that the scheme code 0513013/IC/20433291 is the work of draining the drain going west from the farm of Akhtar Hussain Ansari in the victorious village, whose agency is Panchayat Samiti.
The DDC himself inspected the scheme and gave strict instructions to the PO to deposit the amount of Rs. 3,58,836 spent on the scheme within a week. An explanation has also been sought from him. On the other hand, action has been taken regarding the irregularities found in the Garha removal work at Chakardaha in ward number four of Vijayi Panchayat. A random check of the attendance of labourers working in the scheme was done on June 19 through NMMS in the Garha removal work at Chakardaha under scheme number 0513013010/WC/20643189.
Where it was found that in this scheme a total of twenty four labourers are registered in three master rolls 2881, 2882 and 2883 respectively. In the uploaded photos, one photo has been uploaded in two master rolls 2881 and 2883. Both the photos are not original but have been uploaded by taking one photo from another photo. Whereas another photo has been uploaded in master roll 2882. All the uploaded photos have been taken by PRS, which is a very serious matter. DDC has sought an explanation from PRS Jagat Narayan within two days and has talked about termination of his service on the charge of irregularities in work.
